Chris the Sheep Crochet Pattern

cute crochet sheep pattern

Meet Chris the sheep! A super cute wooly fellow, with easy and quick pattern to follow keeping beginners in mind.

Facts about this pattern:

  1. It can be made in different types of weight and textured yarn, I have included this in the pattern.
  2. It is written in US terms short form making it easy to read and understand.
  3. You will be guided through this pattern with photos illustrations
  4. In the pattern, I explain exactly where to add the eyes and in which round to attach the limbs.
  5. Special stitches like the Bobble stitch are explained within the pattern.
  6. The hook size and amount of yarn you need to finish this pattern are included in the pattern.
  7. Included are instructions on how to make smaller bobble stitches for the body when you are using velvet yarn.

This pattern is beginner-level. The body of the sheep is one section, starting from the head working down to the body. You will be making the ears first and insert them as you make the wool piece for the head. The legs will be attached afterward.

The patterns are worked in the rounds without a slipstitch so you will need a stitch marker.

If the amigurumi sheep is created in the original weight yarn and hook size it will be 18cm/7.01inch.
